1.1 Background of the Study
Access to healthcare remains a significant challenge in rural areas, particularly in Kebbi State, where infrastructure and medical personnel are limited. Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools have the potential to bridge this gap by improving diagnostic accuracy, optimizing resource allocation, and enabling telemedicine services. AI-driven applications like chatbots, remote monitoring devices, and predictive analytics are transforming rural healthcare delivery systems.
In rural clinics, AI tools can support healthcare providers by offering real-time diagnostic recommendations, streamlining patient triage, and predicting disease outbreaks.
